As a Ghanaian kid in Amsterdam, Benjamin ‘Bnnyhunna’ Ankomah discovered how to express himself through music. In church, he learned to play the piano, guitar and drums. Later, he produced songs for Gaidaa, Rimon and Dolapo, and toured the world with Jose James, Arp Frique and Yung Nnelg. For his own, unorthodox message, he experiments with photography, video and poetry. His fusion of jazz, Afro, hip-hop and R&B is influenced by legends such as Fela Kuti, Pharell and Kendrick Lamar and is particularly well captured on his debut album ECHOES OF PRAYER.
