Sarah Silva, aka Estevie, a proud first-generation Mexican American, spearheads the revival of old Latin sounds in pop. At 20, she fuses traditional Latin styles with modern pop, creating an addictive and uniquely evocative sound. Raised in Beaumont, California, Estevie started singing at eight, won second place in La Academia Kids at 11, and amassed over 1.3 million followers on YouTube by 15. Touring Latin America with a teen influencer group, she played to crowds of 5,000-10,000. In August 2021, her breakout single "Canela" and self-directed video gained 400K views, drawing attention in the regional Mexican genre. Featured on Eslabon Armado’s 2022 album NOSTALGIA, Estevie made history with a top 10 debut on the Billboard 200 and signed with Ricky Reed’s Nice Life Recording Company. Preceding her debut EP "Cumbialicious," she released singles like “Triste Verano” and “el paso.” Influenced by cumbia sonidera, Estevie artfully blends pop with cartoonish rhythmic layers, Norteno, and Reggaeton notes, creating a unique sound resonating with Latin and broader audiences.
