New Model Army
New Model Army is a modern punk band, more melodic than many of their classic counterparts, and widely respected for their unwavering political stance, and working class ethics. The band was named after the English revolutionary army of Oliver Cromwell. Led by guitarist / vocalist, Justin Sullivan (who performed under the name Slade The Leveller in the early 1980s) it was formed in 1980 together with drummer Robert Heaton and bassist Stuart Morrow in their hometown of Bradford, England. The group quickly grew an extremely loyal cult following, referred to as "the Family" by members, which to some extent is still extremely loyal. The band collaborated with electric violinist Ed Alleyne-Johnson, who worked with them on their Top 30 single "Vagabonds", and their album Thunder And Consolation, as well as touring extensively with them for five years. The group also tours as 'Justin Sullivan and Friends' which means a more acoustic set without some players (which ones varies), and is linked to Red Sky Coven, in which Justin Sullivan also plays. In early 2003, Sullivan released Navigating by the Stars, a solo album recorded with other band members and featuring Danny Thompson on double bass, and Mark Feltham on harmonica. After a short tour at the end of 2004, the group returned to the studio to record their ninth studio album, Carnival. EMI recently released a couple of remixed earlier albums. As the band themselves say it: "Although there is nothing new within the packages they have been very sympathetically re-packed and remastered and do sound very, very good." In 2004 their founding drummer, Robert Heaton, died of pancreatic cancer. Heaton was a key part of the band and formed a formidable song writing partnership with Sullivan. Other noteable previous members include Dave Bloomberg, Jason 'Moose' Harris, & Ricky Warwick. Warwick went on to form The Almighty while Bloomberg left to form the band Nozzle. The current members of the band include Nelson on Bass, Dean White on guitar, and Marshall Ward also on guitar. The band's drummer is Micheal Dean. In August of 2007 the Band released the album High (the North American release was in September). An extensive tour through N+S America and Europe as well as some other places was short-circuited by the band's inability to secure a U.S. visa. This is the second time in the band's history the INS has refused them entry. www.newmodelarmy.org/fhome.htm

Good Riddance
Good Riddance is a hardcore punk band from Santa Cruz, California which was formed in the early 1990s. The band grew out of California’s vibrant surfing and skateboarding culture and was influenced by such bands as Black Flag, The Adolescents, TSOL and Bad Religion as well as East Coast bands like Sick Of It All and the Cro Mags.
The group’s early years were spent going through line up changes, playing local and regional shows and recording demos as they developed their sound. Early tours and a 7” record release on Little Deputy Records in 1993 (“Gidget”) brought the band widespread interest and overwhelmingly positive reviews.
In 1994 the band caught the interest of Fat Wreck Chords who released the “Decoy” 7″ later that year while the band hit the studio with producer Ryan Greene to record their first full length album “For God And Country” which was released in early 1995.
Over the next decade Good Riddance went on to release seven full length albums and an EP for Fat while crisscrossing the globe dozens of times on tour. The band developed a dedicated and passionate fan base through their constant touring and politically charged music. Good Riddance began donating a portion of their record sales to various organizations and doing whatever they could to raise awareness about the causes they felt strongly about.
In May 2007 Good Riddance played their final show, fittingly in their hometown of Santa Cruz. The members then went their separate ways to raise families and pursue careers. Though there have been numerous offers to reform and play in the five years since, the band has turned them all down.

Dropkick MurphysTo/Die/For is a Finnish gothic metal band. The band began in early 1999, when the musicians from the hard rock band Mary-Ann (which had existed since 1993) decided to change their musical style to gothic metal, modifying the band's name as well. In July of that year, after recording a self-financed EP entitled Deeper Sin, they signed a record deal with Spinefarm Records.
Their debut album - All Eternity - was released in Finland by the end of that year and the band then signed contracts with Nuclear Blast (for Europe) and Pony Canyon (for Japan). In 2000, the band toured Europe together with Dark Tranquillity, Sentenced and In Flames. Epilogue was released in 2001 and was followed by a tour with Lacrimosa.
The album Jaded was released in 2003 and in August of that year, vocalist Jarno Perätalo left the band. He assembled a new band named Tiaga, integrated by former members of To/Die/For. However, in 2004, Jarno Perätalo and the band Tiaga took the name To/Die/For for themselves, releasing the album IV in 2005.
To/Die/For is currently in the studio recording their fifth album, due for release in October 2006.
To/Die/For is currently without a label and searching for one. -

Jaya the Cat
Jaya the Cat will take you out on a night out, and things will for sure get weird. You will dance, laugh, and sing along at the top of your lungs even if you really can't sing, and all your friends know it and love you nevertheless. You will find yourself tapping your foot and nodding your head although you're “not really into reggae, I'm a metal guy”. You will be happier than you thought you could be. You will end up in places you didn't even know existed. And somehow you'll make it home safely with your keys, phone and wallet intact. Jaya the Cat will leave glitter confetti in your bedroom floor and take you out for breakfast. Or lunch, because, you know, breakfast will definitely be too early for you.
Originating in Boston 1998, Jaya the Cat promptly relocated to Amsterdam, and with a crew of diverse and international musicians continue perfecting the the art of making the perfect musical cocktail to get you through this night and into the next one, with equal parts reggae, punk, ska, a splash of electronics and a sprig of dub with a shot of whiskey on the side. In between a relentless touring schedule through clubs and festivals across Europe and beyond, that is downright confusing they keep up considering what they get up to, they've recently recorded their fifth studio full length album set to be released in November 2017. “A Good Day For The Damned” continues the path the band has put itself on with their previous releases. Winding down city streets and across moonlit beaches, staggering past carnivals and drunken sunrises, come 15 new tales of heartbreak and happiness, political confusion (and who hell isn't confused nowadays with that orange haired maniac running things) existential madness but in the end, overall optimism. The right concoction to get Jaya the Cat, and you, in the right mood for what the night holds for you.

Drei Meter Feldweg
