  Slightly Stoopid are an alternative rock band hailing from San Diego, California, USA. The band formed in 1995 and their eclectic brand of summery, genre blending rock & roll has made them one of the biggest cult bands in American rock music.

  Beach Fly is the reggae inspired, feel good musical project lead by John DeMari, host of the 2 Minute Podcast, where he got his start, interviewing some of his favorite artists like Slightly Stoopid, Pepper, and Iration. Beach Fly was formed in the Redwoods of California one night when John and his friends played their music around the Camp Navarro festival campfire. Their performance drew interest from heavyweight reggae/pop producers Carter Reeves of Surfer Girl and Johnny Cosmic of Stick Figure The live band consists of John (lead vocals, rhythm guitar), Pops (lead guitar, vocals) and Sven (percussion, vibe machine) They have produced their first songs with Carter's mentorship.

  Beach Fly’s homegrown, organic sound draws influences from bands in the modern reggae scene like Slightly Stoopid and Rebelution, as well as favorites like Jack Johnson and Xavier Rudd. Beach Fly is out to transport you to a fun, tropical surf side with the best vibes.

  They are releasing their first songs in 2024 under Ineffable records. Beach Fly is a project to keep a keen eye out for. Fly high today!
