  Wunderhorse have seen their popularity snowball the old fashioned way; winning fans over through visceral live performances and Jacob Slater’s vivid songwriting. 2024 saw ‘the arrival of a band that could become generational’ (Rolling Stone UK) with the release of their sophomore album, Midas. Recorded at Minnesota’s Pachyderm Studio (birthplace of Nirvana’s In Utero & PJ Harvey’s Rid Of Me) with producer Craig Silvey, Midas follows their acclaimed 2022 debut, Cub, and captures the visceral atmosphere of the band’s lauded live performances. Following a year supporting the likes of Fontaines D.C and Sam Fender, 2025 sees the band touring North America ahead of playing their biggest headline shows to date, and their first European headline tour. Wunderhorse are a band who have quickly become one of British guitar music’s most exciting outfits.

  Son of legendary vocalist, Ian Dury, Baxter Dury (born November 8th, 1972) has crafted a career of his own, offering psychedelia-infused indie rock that has found a strong cult following and critical praise.

  English Teacher

  On the epic centrepiece to English Teacher’s debut album, Lily Fontaine laments that not every-body gets to go to space. “You’re too busy here,” she points out. “How could you fit it in?” The Leeds four-piece certainly have had a hectic couple of years, with a burgeoning fanbase watching and listening to them refine their sound in real time, and now, at the end of it, their sprawling, stir-ring first full-length caps an hugely impressive rise for the group.

  The seeds of the band were sown in 2018, when Fontaine met the rest of the members at the Leeds Conservatoire, where they were all students. Lewis Whiting plays guitar, Nicholas Eden is on bass, and Douglas Frost drums; Fontaine, meanwhile, sings, alternates between guitar and piano, and pairs the group’s consistently adventurous compositions with lyrics at one aching and abstract, scored through with northern wit.

  Described by the Irish Times as “raw as a butcher's cut, and just as fresh”, Gurriers’ raging combination of punk, noise, alt-rock and shoegaze along with singer Dan Hoff’s intense socio-political lyricism, has been championed across specialist radio and press in the UK, Ireland and beyond. Cutting their teeth supporting acts like Enola Gay and Goat Girl, Gurriers have fast established themselves as one of the most furiously exciting bands to come out of Ireland these last few years. The intensely heavy groove of new single 'Des Goblin' erupted into being following a string of critically acclaimed singles the last year, the most recent 'Nausea' dubbed by DIY magazine 'a slice of unforgiving punk' which followed the release of 'Sign Of The Times' and 'Approachable'. The last year has been a riot with a stack of UK and Dutch club shows and a Summer full of festivals across Europe whilst Gurriers have since grown into a mesmerising tour de force on stage. Ahead of their packed shows at The Great Escape in May NME stated “You know something special is afoot when an act continues to sell out shows off the back of only two singles'

Combing new-wave bass lines, hip-hop-inspired drum beats, and raw guitar riffs with a classic rock and roll energy, their sophomore EP, Bitter & Twisted, was released in May 2025. On the back of their largest headline tour to date, the Irish foursome is now looking ahead to their debut run of European headline shows.

  Heidi Curtis

  Heidi Curtis is a 24 year-old singer-songwriter hailing from Newcastle upon Tyne. She has a sound that's both urgent and authentic, fronting a tight band that brings her vision to life. Her powerhouse vocal takes you on a journey through her world, from love to loss, with lyrics that linger. For the last six years, Heidi has honed her craft, from local grassroots venues to sold-out support slots with the likes of Sam Fender, Paul Weller, Ben Howard, and Paolo Nutini. In November 2025, Heidi released her debut single, Undone, with AWAL Recordings.
