La cita será en el Teatro Metropólitan el 12 de septiembre del próximo año, para disfrutar de un encuentro íntimo con la mezcla de sonidos inigualable de la agrupación. El lanzamiento de su último sencillo ?No Pasa Nada?, canción que habla de lo importante que es saber soltar el amor no correspondido, está preparando a sus escuchas para conocer un poco de lo que se viene en su próximo álbum. Esta canción cuenta con elementos sonoros de la tradicional banda sinaloense y música norteña, lo que refleja que La Santa Cecilia siempre está en búsqueda de experimentar con los diferentes sonidos que aporta Latinoamérica.

The group draws inspiration from all over the world, utilizing Pan-American rhythms including cumbia, bossa-nova, rumba, bolero, tango, jazz and klezmer music. Their unique sounds and the experience of their colorful, passionate performances continues to captivate both loyal fans and new listeners.
Named after the patron saint of music, La Santa Cecilia is composed of accordionist and requinto player Jose ‘Pepe’ Carlos, bassist Alex Bendaña, percussionist Miguel ‘Oso’ Ramirez, and vocalist ‘La Marisoul’.
With a captivating voice that sings about love, loss, and everyday struggles, the band has become the voice of a new bicultural generation in the United States, fully immersed in modern music, but always close to their Latin American influences and Mexican heritage.
La Santa Cecilia started their career by serenading passers-by on the corners of downtown Los Angeles’ famed Olvera Street. They are a musical phenomenon that has toured from coast to coast, collaborated with Elvis Costello, Bunbury, Fito Paez, appeared on Conan, and most recently shared the stage with Pepe Aguilar and Led Zeppelin’s John Paul Jones.
