Velkommen til julekonsert med Lewi Bergrud og Garness!
Søskenduoen Garness skapte begeistring med julealbumet «Barnet i krybben» – en varm, leken og personlig samling julesanger som fikk strålende mottakelse i rikspressen. Siden den gang har duoen fra Vestlandet reist landet rundt og skapt stemningsfulle julekonserter for publikum i alle aldre.
Lewi Bergrud har gjennom mange år markert seg som en av landets mest aktive turnerende artister. Hans sterke tolkning av «Fairytale of New York» på totendialekt – «Når kjerkeklokka slår» – har blitt en julefavoritt for mange.
Sammen inviterer Lewi og Garness til en musikalsk og nær julekonsert fylt av håp, varme og spilleglede, med barnet i krybben i sentrum. Sammen med publikum skaper de en kveld smekkfull av både vestlandsk og totensk julestemning. Dette blir en kveld med sterke tekster, vakre harmonier og historier du vil huske.

Garness
The duo GARNESS consists of the two Norwegian twin sisters Ingelin Reigstad Norheim and Hildegunn Garnes Reigstad. The girls grew up in a home filled with music on the island Holsnøy outside Bergen, where the piano play could be heard through the walls in the late hours. They wrote their first songs at the age of 5, inspired by both dad and grandmother. Now 40 years old and well-established as artists and musicians on the Norwegian music scene, they are working on their fifth album in the musical landscape of indie pop, this time with Norwegian lyrics, the language closest to their heart. Garness has been working closely with the acclaimed producer and drummer Thomas Gallatin to refine their sound. "Ut i lyset" is the first single from their upcoming album, setting the tone for a slightly new direction for the well established duo. The unique blend of the twins’ warm and unpretentious voices is complemented by a band consisting of some of Norway's finest musicians, along with the incredible "Dina Ögon" guitarist Daniel Ögren. The music is organic sounding, yet thoroughly produced, and aims to uplift and bring hope to the listener. The girls play a number of instruments, such as guitars, piano, harps, vibraphone, percussion/drums etc, and seek to provide a unique sonic experience for their listeners. Along with their unique musical interaction as identical twins, the girls have become known for their musical originality and their personal, engaged way of performing.
