TinFish live at Eddie's Attic! Grown from the fertile musical soil of the dirty south. Tinfish is an instrumental quartet blending elements of vintage soul and blues with danceable rhythms and down home melodies. Formed by longtime Delta Moon guitarist Mark Johnson and influenced by the sound of session masters from the 60's. The tinfish sound pays homage to groups like Booker T and the M.G.s, Link Wray, and the Meters while looking forward to the likes of modern instrumental wizards Khruangbin and Hermanos Guitarrez. Slide guitar and swirling organ mesh together over funky drums and bass for a hearty musical stew that's hard to deny.
