Etherwood is undoubtedly one of the most promising young talents in the scene today. Originally from Lincoln and now living in London, Woody has already captured the imagination of thousands across the globe with his achingly beautiful beats and heartfelt melodies. Fusing the upbeat energy of drum & bass with the chilled, atmospheric moods of reverb-heavy guitar and delayed piano rolls, it's hard to believe that Etherwood only started producing drum & bass two years ago. Already he's received support from Radio One, 1Xtra, Capital FM, XFM, Triple J and Rinse FM and has remixed high-profile artists including Lana Del Rey, Jakwob, Gorgon City and Alex Clare. Early November 2013 saw the release of his highly anticipated self-titled debut album, which garnered much speculation across the musical landscape. The album was heavily supported throughout the scene from a variety of artists, including Netsky, Sub Focus and TC, while also receiving plenty of airtime from a variety of Radio 1 and 1Xtra DJS. After the overwhelming success of the album, "Woody" soon picked up the award for "Best Newcomer DJ" and "Best Newcomer Producer" at the 2013 D&B Arena awards, bagged a slot with BBC Radio 1Xtra's "Xtra Talent" alongside Crissy Criss, and teamed up with Hospital's Devonshire duo Fred V & Grafix to lay down the vocals on this year's summer anthem "Forest Fires". This forthcoming collaboration has already proved its potential for crossover success by being added to the Radio 1 Playlist over a month before release. As he continues to prove his versatility and talent, Hospital Records invited him to put together their first artist-led mix album in over four years, which dropped at the end of May, entitled "Hospital Mixtape: Etherwood". As we look to the horizon, things are looking very promising for Woody as he unquestionably holds down the title of man of the moment in the scene. With a signature sound that is both instantly recognisable and deeply compelling, his dedicated fanbase continues to grow in all corners of the globe, all eager to hear what's next from him. Etherwood's eagerly anticipated second album, "Blue Leaves", is released on Med School Music on Friday 4th September 2015. www.etherwood.co.uk

She may only be 5ft 2, but A Little Sound is an artist causing a lot of noise right now – and for all the right reasons.

Maybe you’ve had your ears perked by her dreamy vocal hooks, or maybe you’ve seen her Tik-Toks spreading the word about drum and bass. Either way, there’s a lot to love about this exciting talent. While still in her early twenties, A Little Sound has already been responsible for the vocals behind some of D&B’s biggest anthems in recent years. “Back In Time” with Kanine, “Lakota” with Technimatic, “Rum & Lime” with DJ Gaw and Selecta J-Man – the list goes on. But she’s still only just getting started.

Despite being lauded for her vocal work, which saw A Little Sound land 2nd place in DrumandBassArena’s 2021 Award for Best Vocalist, this artist has always had the ambition to be more. Singer, writer, DJ, MC, stage host – you name it, she’s pushing to do it all. It’s a motivation that first caught the eyes of the D&B community after an epic Stay At Home Festival live stream surprising everyone with her mixing and impromptu MCing, and it has since blossomed into the start of something special with bookings for standalone sets at various events, including a headline performance at the Bristol’s legendary Motion.

While D&B is firmly engrained into A Little Sound’s direction, gun fingers and basslines weren’t always in this vocalist’s path. With a background in musical theatre and a history of performing acoustic covers since the age of 11 on her Youtube channel, this self-taught musician’s career could have been very different if it wasn’t for the influence of Bristol – a city where she and Born On Road have grown together.

With a debut EP on the horizon, along with many vocal features and live performances to come, you can expect A Little Sound to only get louder as time goes on.

Michael Hitches, known to most as 'Mozey' developed a deep love for Drum and Bass in the mid noughties.

2020 saw Mozey truly make his mark with his track Ladykillaz - a modern day DNB classic that cemented him as a key player with an international fan base. He followed this up with a release schedule that reads like a bucket list of modern Drum and Bass labels - Hospital Records, V Recordings, 31 Records, Elevate, Serial Killaz and the list goes on. He then became a key artist at Serum’s burgeoning label ‘Souped Up’, regularly achieving store-wide chart number 1s and key playlisting across streaming.

In the last year Mozey has played at some of the biggest venues in the UK and Europe including Printworks and Tobacco Docks in London, Belgium, Prague, Barcelona and has just come back from a headline tour of New Zealand and Australia. This tour capped off a summer full of festivals such as Glastonbury, Boomtown, Bassfest and many more.

Mozey is a complete fan favourite, his second to none DJ sets and releases backed with social media presence has cemented him a mainstay within drum & bass, the next 12 months prove to be huge for Mozey.
