EUTERPE PROMOTIONS PRÉSENTE : LIORévélée par son single incontournable Banana Split, Lio représente aujourd’hui l’une des plus grandes icônes pop francophone. La sortie de Banana Split en 1979 ouvre la voie à une série de tubes tels que Amoureux Solitaires, Amicalement Vôtre, et Week-end à Rome en duo avec Étienne Daho. Avec 11 albums à son actif, Lio fait son grand retour avec un 12ème album studio : Geoid Party in the Sky. Un disque né de la volonté de revenir à ses premiers amours et de rendre hommage aux belles rencontres que la vie lui a donné.Aux belles rencontres de sa carrière ensuite, et c’est surtout de cela que son nouveau projet est riche. Lio fait alors appel à quelques-uns des plus grands noms de la nouvelle génération pop : Louane, Hoshi, Corine, Isia Marie, Betta Lemme, Sophie Ellis Bexter, Marie Darrieussecq et Sofia Portanet ont toutes accepté d’écrire pour l’icône belgo-portugaise. Chaque texte s’écrit avant tout autour d’une rencontre, d’une transmission et aborde des thématiques communes à toutes les femmes, de toutes les générations.

LIO is an ambient alt-pop format fronted by Leonie Sloots. The Sheffield-based songwriter has taken the stage supporting acts such as Stevie Parker, Slow Club and While She Sleeps. In May 2018 LIO launched as a full band, quickly gathering momentum on the Sheffield music scene and beyond through multiple festival appearances (Outlines, Tramlines, Y Not Festival) radio play (Amazing Radio, BBC Introducing Sheffield, Sheffield Live, Jelli Records Music Show) and their O2 Academy Sheffield debut supporting King No-One. “Ranging from ambient soundscapes to mellow indie and everything in between, their set was a very welcome breather.
