Leftover Salmon
For the past quarter-century, Colorado’s Leftover Salmon has established itself as one of the great purveyors of Americana music, digging deep into the well that supplies its influences; rock ‘n’ roll, folk, bluegrass, Cajun, soul, zydeco, jazz and blues. During their twenty-five plus years as a band they have headlined shows and festivals from coast to coast, released nine albums, and maintained a vibrant, relevant and influential voice in the music world. The evolution of Leftover Salmon’s music is influenced by Leftover Salmon co-founders Drew Emmitt (mandolin/vocals) and Vince Herman‘s (guitar/singer) keen musical instincts, and follows a musical path that adheres to the deep tradition the duo started when they first formed the group along with deceased banjo player Mark Vann. The addition of new band members over the years has nurtured an unmistakable evolution and freshness in Leftover Salmon’s sound, and has added an edge to the long-lasting power of the band’s music. Fueled by the rhythm section of long time bassist Greg Garrison, drummer Alwyn Robinson, and Salmon’s newest member, Jay Starling, the band is currently enjoying a creative renaissance. The front line trio of Emmitt, Herman and prodigious banjo player Andy Thorn are continually challenged and pushed in new directions as the band collectively searches for new spaces and sounds within their extensive catalog of songs.

flipturn
For flipturn, success didn't arrive overnight. The band, comprised of Dillon Basse (lead vocal
guitar), Tristan Duncan (lead guitar), Mitch Fountain (synth, guitar), Madeline Jarman (bass), and
Devon VonBalson (drums), grew steadily with every gig, from college house shows to festival
appearances at Bonnaroo, Lollapalooza, and Austin City Limits, to a late night TV performance
on Jimmy Kimmel Live - earning the Jacksonville, Florida-based band an international
reputation as an indie rock powerhouse. By the time flipturn released their debut album,
Shadowglow, they'd become genuine road warriors while still in their mid-20s, supporting the
record with a nonstop string of tour dates. That dizzying experience inspired the band’s second
release, Burnout Days. Caught halfway between 21st century indie rock, New Wave-inspired
nostalgia, and rhythmic alt-pop, Burnout Days finds the beauty that exists between five friends,
even in times of burnout.

Rebirth Brass Band
Simply put, The Rebirth Brass Band is an institution. Formed in 1983, the band has long since graduated from the streets of New Orleans to theaters and festivals all over the world. Rebirth is committed to upholding the tradition of brass bands while at the same time incorporating modern music into their show. Their signature brand of heavy funk has placed them among the world’s top brass bands and they are the hands-down favorite among the younger generation. In reference to the sometimes-stringent competition amongst brass bands, Offbeat magazine remarked, “…it’s clear that Rebirth, which boasts 10 albums and has traveled the world, is the band to beat (July 2001).

Jonah KagenEmbodying contrast, Savannah GA native Jonah Kagen approaches the guitar with the instinctual know-how of a jazz virtuoso, but also pens the kinds of lyrics that turn into festival singalongs, tweets, and tattoos. Speaking of tattoos, his choice of body ink represents the two sides of his personality with one half depicting all kinds of creepy imagery in black-and-white and the other half colorfully cheery. For as wide as his smile is, his passion for horror flicks and hometown ghost lore might be just as broad. This duality shines on his ARISTA debut. In fall 2020, he teased out his original single “Broken,” previewing the song by encouraging his followers to “co-write” with him via TikTok, which incited a flurry of duets (5,000 to date). As the video amassed millions of social views and engagements, he built up anticipation for its formal release, attracting a staggering 30,000 pre-saves. Over the first three months post-release, “Broken” gathered over 10.5MM streams across listening platforms like Spotify, Apple Music, Amazon Music, and more. After amassing over 10 million total streams and receiving acclaim from the likes of OnesToWatch, he presents every facet of himself in 2021.

Clay Street UnitClay Street Unit's sound mixes the acoustic instrumentation of bluegrass and folk with the amplified energy of Americana and country. The result is a singular interpretation of American roots music that blurs the borders between genre and geography, fusing the influence of the Rocky Mountains with the traditions of the Appalachians. Driven forward by drums, sharp songwriting, and the chemistry of six good friends and musical brothers who've shared countless hours on stage, Clay Street Unit's music doesn't just nod to the band's influences; it reshapes them into something new.
