George Jr & the 9/11s

George Jr. & the 9/11s are a garage-cowpunk conspiracy based out of the San Francisco Bay. The band’s name and album title is not so much a salute to the former commander in chief, as it is a hint at just how seriously this San Franciscan quartet takes themselves. Much like everyone’s favorite Philly goofballs the Dead Milkmen, George Jr. And The 9/11s tongue-in-cheek pisstakes and the clean-toned guitar strumming to mostly cow punk-sounding ditties makes their songs sturdier than steel beams.
