The Libertines
Kdysi symbol chaosu, dnes kapela, která zní pevněji a sebevědoměji než kdy dřív. The Libertines se po letech turbulence vrátili albem All Quiet on the Eastern Esplanade, které v roce 2024 vystřelilo rovnou na vrchol britské hitparády a potvrdilo, že jejich příběh zdaleka nekončí. Už jejich pražské vystoupení v roce 2022 naznačilo, že kapela do starého železa rozhodně nepatří a že mají i naživo stále co říct. Pod vedením výrazné autorské dvojice Pete Doherty a Carla Barâta spojuje dnes kapela drzost raných let s vyzrálejším pohledem na svět. The Libertines naživo balancují mezi minulostí a přítomností s lehkostí kapely, která si už nemusí nic dokazovat. Debut Up the Bracket a následné eponymní album definovaly dekádu raného milénia. Lehkost The Smiths, odvaha The Stone Roses nebo nadhled Blur. Stále ale originální, a ani na pozdějších albech nepostrádající texty reflektující svět kolem nás nebo osobní příběhy, které dávají hudbě vždy novou hloubku a větší autenticitu. Vystoupení The Libertines slibuje hodně, Colours of Ostrava jsou skvělou příležitostí, jak si připomenout jednu nádhernou rockovou éru nebo se nechat strhnout kapelou, která má stále co říct. GAEL FAYEFranco-rwandais, Gaël Faye est auteur compositeur interprète de rap. Aussi influencé par les littératures créoles que par la culture hip hop, il sort un album en 2010 avec le groupe Milk Coffee & Sugar. En 2013 paraît son premier album solo, Pili Pili sur un Croissant au Beurre. Enregistré entre Bujumbura et Paris, il se nourrit d’influences musicales plurielles : du rap teinté de soul et de jazz, du semba, de la rumba congolaise, du sébène… Son premier roman, « Petit pays » paru en août 2016 aux Editions Grasset a reçu le Prix Roman Fnac et le Prix Goncourt des Lycéens.
Un EP intitulé « Rythmes & Botanique » sortira en 2017.

Groundation
Formed in 1998, GROUNDATION is among the world’s reggae legends.
Their first two albums (YOUNG TREE and EACH ONE TEACH ONE) established a unique roots sound, distinctive to GROUNDATION. In 2002, the album HEBRON GATE was recorded, achieving immediate success and propelling the group to international fame, a masterpiece of their progressive and unique roots reggae.
In 2018, after the departure of some of its founding members, the legendary Californian band reformed around its leader HARRISON STAFFORD. He surrounded himself with the best musicians who, like him, graduated from the prestigious Sonoma State University. The resulting sound remains deeply faithful to the jazz-tinged reggae that has made GROUNDATION’s reputation since its inception.
