Killer Kin

KILLER KIN PLAYS BALL-BREAKING, HIGH POWERED ROCK N' ROLL, PULLING INFLUENCE FROM BANDS LIKE RADIO BIRDMAN, AC/DC, MOTÖRHEAD, AND SO ON. FORMED IN 2018 BY SINGER MATT, AND GUITARIST/ SONGWRITER CHLOE ROSE, THE TWO SOLIDIFIED THE LINE UP TO INCLUDE CLOSE FRIENDS JASON KYEK ON DRUMS, MARCO CAROTENUTO ON BASS, AND BRADY "THE CAT" WILSON ON LEAD GUITAR. KILLER KIN RELEASED THEIR DEBUT S/T RECORD ON DEAD BEAT RECORDS IN 2023, COMPLETED TWO EUROPEAN TOURS, AND IS CURRENTLY WORKING ON THEIR SECOND FULL LENGTH RECORD TO BE RELEASED IN THE FALL OF 2026.

Led by vocalist and bassist Monty McDonagh, Kestrel are completed by Luke Desmond (guitar), Alec Gillet (guitar) and Isaac Wappat (drums). Formed in Newcastle, the band draw inspiration from the rich tradition of alternative guitar music, combining restless rock energy with anthemic songwriting and raw, emotionally charged performances.

Kestrel’s songs capture the uncertainty and excitement of early adulthood. Built on loud guitars, the band are quickly becoming a fixture of the North East’s emerging rock scene.
