  Since their genesis two decades ago, the Greek powerhouse has become a true staple of the international rock scene out thanks to their anthemic songcraft and hundreds of fire-driven live performances across the globe.

  It’s no wonder why 1000mods are considered one of Europe’s most iconic heavy rock bands worldwide. From the early-day breakthrough of stoner rock milestones Super Van Vacation (2011) and Vultures (2014) to the overdriven rock’n’roll charge of Repeated Exposure to... (2016) and the ambitious alt-rock shift of Youth of Dissent (2020), 1000mods let the power of music speak for itself with their no-frills attitude and strong DIY ethics. Transcending genre boundaries and bringing together generations of faithful fans, 1000mods stands as a unique voice of hope and empowerment for those who are lucky to cross their path.

  Slated for a November 2024 release on Ouga Booga and the Mighty Oug Recordings (world) and Ripple Music (US), their highly anticipated fifth album Cheat Death is set to be their heaviest record to date, delivering ten powerful sonic statements packed with metal and punk influences while still delivering a few shiver-inducing gems along the way. 1000mods are ready to trample upon the heavy rock world and take no prisoner, and you’d better be ready for it!

  The Devil And The Almighty Blues

  When the 60’s turned into the 70’s there was a musical crossroads. The American blues had had it’s run with teens on both sides of the Atlantic long enough so that the blues-offspring named rock’n’roll had to expand or die. It did not die, it expanded in all kinds of directions! And right there in the crossroads between blues-based rock and all the world’s other sub-genres of rock, something happened to the blues. The format got experimented with, expanded and almost made unrecognizable. But at the same time the roots to the original ’real’ blues was never lost. Where Peter Green left Fleetwood Mac in 1970 with the track «Green Manalishi», where Johnny Winter stretched his musical legs, where ZZ Top bought Marshall full stacks and shot from the hip, and last but not least where the legend himself, Muddy Waters, stretched the limits of that was ’legal’ with the album «Electric Mud». And not to forget Hendrix, Free Canned Heat and the rest of the gang from the Woodstock-era. The result was a highly electric musical revolution, where e.g. the newly born genre hard rock walked hand in hand with traditional delta blues.

  It is out from this musical mud The Devil and the Almighty Blues have found their inspiration. Their music is slow, heavy, melodic and raw, all without losing the almighty blues out of sight.

  Ufomammut

  Ufomammut is a power trio formed in 1999 in Italy by Poia, Urlo and Vita.

  The band is worldwide recognized for its unique genre of space sludge that combines a monumental riffing attitude with a peculiar kind of futuristic psychedelia.

  In 20 years, among a number of other works, the trio has published eight studio albums, mainly under Supernatural Cat (the record label of Malleus Rock Art Lab of which Poia and Urlo are founders)  and the last 3 for Neurot Recordings.

  Ufomammut has toured several times all over Europe, Russia, Usa, Canada, Australia and New Zealand and has been present in the most important heavy music festivals around the World.

  The artworks and live shows are supported by the graphic and video art of Malleus, the rock artists’ collective of which Poia and Urlo are part, who conjure the entirety of Ufomammut’s visual impact.

  At the beginning of January 2020 the drummer Vita left the band.

  In April 2021 Ufomammut are back, Levre is the new drummer.

  VERY IMPORTANT:

  UFOMAMMUT= UFO: U(nidentified) F(lying) O(bject) – MAMMUT: italian for mammoth

  “UFOMAMMUT” should be pronounced in the italian way, sounding like “oofomammoot”…
