Inspired by a wide variety of genres such as blues, film scores, electronica, grunge and by illustrators like Tove Jansson and Yoshitaka Amono, singer/songwriter Jonathan Hultén’s debut album Chants From Another Place was released in March 2020 and draws you into a deeply reflective and personal world of art and poetry.
Since then, a series of video performances and hand drawn animated music videos have shown that Jonathan’s holistic approach to music is about creating an immersive, aesthetic experience to sooth all your senses. As a listener and concert visitor you are invited to enter that other place of tranquil guitar fingerpicking, ethereal synthesizers and melancholic yet joyful melodies.
