CARTEL BZH ET GERARD DROUOT PRODUCTIONS PRESENTENT : WALTER TROUTÀ l'automne 2026, l'icône du blues rock Walter Trout revient pour une grande tournée européenne avec son dernier album studio intitulé « Sign of the Times », sorti le 5 septembre 2025 chez Mascot – Provogue.
Walter Trout est considéré comme l’un des plus grands guitaristes de tous les temps, souvent cité aux côtés d’Eric Clapton et de Jimi Hendrix. Sa musique incarne une fusion réussie entre le blues et le rock.
Depuis 1968, Walter Trout a joué avec de nombreux groupes et artistes. Il a notamment collaboré avec la légende du blues John Lee Hooker entre 1979 et 1980. De 1980 à 1984, il est membre du groupe Canned Heat, avant de rejoindre John Mayall de 1984 à 1989.
En 1989, il fonde le Walter Trout Band, rebaptisé Walter Trout & the Radicals en 1999. Salué par la presse internationale, il s’impose comme une figure incontournable du blues rock.
Dans un sondage de la BBC, il se hisse à la 6? place parmi les 20 plus grands guitaristes de tous les temps (à quelques voix près du top 5 aux côtés de Jimi Hendrix et de Jimmy Page).

Walter Trout
Walter Trout (born 1951 in Ocean City, New Jersey) is a blues guitarist and front man of Walter Trout and the Radicals. Trout's career began on the Jersey coast scene of the late 60's and early 70's that jump started the career of artists like Bruce Springsteen. He then decided to relocate to Los Angeles where he became a sideman for such artists as Percy Mayfield and Deacon Jones. He also worked in the bands of John Lee Hooker and Joe Tex. In 1981 be became the guitarist for blues rock band Canned Heat. This led to an invitation to play in John Mayall's Bluesbreakers where he shared the stage with guitarist Coco Montoya. He left the Bluesbreakers in 1989 and formed the Walter Trout Band which developed a successful following in Europe. In 1998 Trout released his self-titled domestic debut CD and renamed his band Walter Trout and the Free Radicals (later renamed Walter Trout and the Radicals). Since that time Trout has been recording and touring both in North America and in Europe.
