Gennem en underfundig og violet prisme, skaber indie-popmusikeren, Strawberry Guy et sandt malerisk lydlandskab. Hans musikalske malerpensel er dyppet i lige dele singer/songwriter essens og en særlige fornemmelse for det æteriske og svævende.
Romantikeren par excellence var senest udgivelsesaktuel i 2023 med nye versioner af singlerne, “F Song” (2019) og “Mrs Magic” (2019). To nye udgaver, som er iklædt et slør af strygere og fornyet patos, der taler for en septemberaften i Lille VEGA med jordbær-røde kinder og sidemakkeren arm i arm.
I 2021 udkom debutalbummet, Sun Outside My Window, hvis musikalske penselstrøg rammesatte Strawberry Guys romantisk-inspirerede kompositioner. Albummet er et overflødighedshorn af luftige og frodige arrangementer, der balancerer let og ubesværet mellem dynamiske og dramatiske toneskift.
Magasinet The Line of Best Fit smed roser efter debuten med følgende ord:
“The album artwork of the beautiful landscape painting is reflective of the contents. Strawberry Guy’s sound can be compared to a classic piece of artwork, a one-man impressionist effort painting majestic soundscapes full of detail, colour and stimulation. One could go as far to call Sun Outside My Window a timeless masterpiece that could be passed down through the ages.”
Strawberry Guy lagde sidst vejen forbi VEGA i 2024. Her spillede han for et komplet udsolgt Ideal Bar, og nu er han altså tilbage i VEGA.

Monet’s picturesque Meadow at Giverny features as the album’s accompanying artwork.
