IYAMAH
Growing up to the sounds of African drumming and reggae music in Brighton, IYAMAH moved to London aged 19 to study at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, winning a scholarship award for best vocals. She has since toured with the likes of Masego and Mahalia, collaborated with Pola & Bryson and DJ Zinc, and sold-out multiple headline shows. As a solo artist, IYAMAH is developing a distinct soulful R&B sound, which she describes as Rootsy Soul, and remains true to her musical roots and lyrical focus on identity, self-worth, and female empowerment.
