Mo'Kalamity

The Jazz Cafe Camden, 5 Parkway, NW1 7PG London Kort

þri. 04.08.2026 19:00

A roots reggae voice shaped by Jamaican studio tradition, diasporic heritage and a live band sound built on deep groove and space.

Mo'Kalamity draws on Caribbean and African influences, with spiritually focused lyrics and a Paris-based identity rooted in Cape Verdean heritage.

With her band The Wizards, the music is driven by bass-heavy rhythm, warm analogue tone and classic Jamaican musicianship.

A set rooted in conscious roots reggae, delivered with clarity, weight and precision.

Enjoy a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant.

    IYAMAH

Growing up to the sounds of African drumming and reggae music in Brighton, IYAMAH moved to London aged 19 to study at the Institute of Contemporary Music Performance, winning a scholarship award for best vocals. She has since toured with the likes of Masego and Mahalia, collaborated with Pola & Bryson and DJ Zinc, and sold-out multiple headline shows. As a solo artist, IYAMAH is developing a distinct soulful R&B sound, which she describes as Rootsy Soul, and remains true to her musical roots and lyrical focus on identity, self-worth, and female empowerment.
