French Cuban sisters Ibeyi will start their highly-anticipated North American headline tour dates in Los Angeles on March 10th.
Following their third album Spell 31 release last May and the unfortunate postponement of their American tour, Lisa-Kaindé and Naomi Diaz will finally bring their powerful new show, including a full live band, to fourteen major American cities. Ojerime and Annahstasia are joining Ibeyi on select dates. See all live tour dates on their website: https://ibeyimusic.com/tour/

After tackling subjects like womanhood, racism, and activism on their 2017 release Ash and familial history, death and origins on their 2015 self-titled release, on Spell 31the twins set out to remobilize the power of their birth given destiny as Ibeyi, which has led them on a path to restoration in pursuit of true harmony, healing and magic. Featuring 10 new songs, written by Ibeyi, who worked again with their long-time producer Richard Russell (Ash, Ibeyi), over the course of 2021 in London, Spell 31features appearances from Jorja Smith, Pa Salieu, BERWYN, Ibeyi’s father and mother and a reimagining of Black Flag’s “Rise Above.”

Beast In Black is a Helsinki-based international heavy metal band whose sound fuses powerful riffs

with melodic hooks, dance-metal energy, and the drama of 1980s pop and electronic music. Lyrically,

they draw on dark fantasy and sci-fi themes, with a particular passion for the manga Berserk. Known

for their explosive live shows, the band has released three acclaimed albums, a string of singles and

videos, and even collaborated on a video game. Their breakout video “Blind And Frozen” has

surpassed 50 million views on YouTube.

    THE PAST...

Beast In Black was founded in 2015 by guitarist and songwriter Anton Kabanen. The original line-up

featured Kabanen, vocalist Yannis Papadopoulos, guitarist Kasperi Heikkinen, bassist Máté Molnár,

and drummer Sami Hänninen, later replaced in 2017 by Atte Palokangas.

Their debut album Berserker (2017) stormed the Finnish charts, earning platinum status, and their

follow-up From Hell With Love (2019) also went platinum, cementing their reputation as one of the

most exciting new forces in metal. During this period, they supported major acts such

as Nightwish in arenas, while their first headline tour drew over 1,000 fans per night.

    THE PRESENT...

In 2021 the band released their third album, Dark Connection, which debuted at number one in

Finland and quickly went gold. By this stage, Beast In Black had become one of Finland’s most

successful metal exports. They headlined tours across Europe, North and South America, and Japan,

now averaging 2,500 fans per show, and appeared on the main stages of premier European festivals

including Wacken Open Air, Hellfest, and Graspop.

    THE FUTURE

Beast In Black show no signs of slowing down. In June 2024 they released the standalone

single “Power Of The Beast”, described by Kabanen as the band’s first “Super Eurobeast” anthem.

Later that year they were confirmed as special guests on Helloween’s 40th anniversary European

    tour in autumn 2025.

In April 2025 the band unveiled a high-profile collaboration with Blizzard Entertainment’s Diablo

IV and Berserk, tied to the game’s eighth season Belial’s Return, releasing the single “Enter The

    Behelit” as its soundtrack.

The band’s highly anticipated fourth album is scheduled for release in May 2026.
