Virve Rosti standed for Finland in Eurovision in 1987 with Petri Laaksonen`s made song "Sata Salamaa".

Witty bon mots such as ‘Müch in der Melange’ (I'm in a mess) or ‘du bist mir teuer wie Benzin’ (you are as precious to me as petrol) become clever declarations of love – a certain lightness is paired with restrained reflections in the project's debut song ‘Du bist wie’ (You are like) (2025). Austropop translates the DIY charm and unpolished thoughts of a 21st-century street poet into an elegant performance of German-language chansons. No kitsch, no finger-wagging, but rather a sound image of this new generation of indie artists who are not interested in bombast and fuss, but rather in artistic humility and creative spaces between pop and subculture.   Jules War appeared in November 2024 with a special, atmospheric music project in the form of the debut LP, The Greatest Climber on Earth, which the band worked on for more than four years. By the end of 2024 she felt that it was ready to be presented to the public, first on digital platforms and then live from 2025 onwards. Behind the guitar is Balázs Bajnok who, as a member of the band Magidom, released three LPs and toured extensively, as well as appearing as a guest musician in several well-known local acts.
