Go Cactus
Go Cactus, the young Spanish band formed by Pau Gual (vocals and guitar), Joan Gual (drums and backing vocals) and Joan Amengual (bass and backing vocals), has not stopped sailing in the waters of rock n' roll since 2017. A sharp and elegant power trio, two brothers and a cousin, three hawks in the sky.
Since 2017 they have released three Punk Rock EPs and their first LP with lyrics in English. In September 2024, they made their debut with lyrics in Spanish and released their second album ('Plaza Patines', 2024). They enlisted Raúl Pérez to produce and record an album full of hymns, elementary but absorbing, simple but infinitely referential, a flood of melodies that cannot but be sung.
Energetic, full of sweat, dancing, and triggering song endings, Go Cactus' live performances are a joy to behold. An intoxicating cocktail that they have perfected in the more than 150 concerts that this young band has performed to date. On a national level, they have performed at Monkey Week, Bime, Mallorca Live Festival, Cranc Festival and Gambeat Weekend. They have also appeared on stages in England and Portugal, and have crossed the Atlantic to the USA.

SalvanaWith a wink to the past and a dreamy smile for the future, Salvana create soundtracks for sultry summer nights under the stars. The quartet from Barcelona have dedicated themselves to shoegaze and make music according to the credo ‘never enough reverb’. And indeed, the cosmic guitars of their debut EP, ‘Salvana’ (2022), echo and resound with a grandeur and expanse that transports you into an enraptured state of perfect trance. Melodies rise and fall, the echoes of layered vocals reach into infinity, and yet the songs also have an artfully integrated personal quality. It’s not least the depths of human emotions that inspire the Spanish quartet’s creative process, making room for dream pop and post-rock alongside shoegaze. With their latest singles, ‘Espiral’ and ‘Desierta’ (2025), Salvana demonstrate how they are consistently developing within their own style and are fanning out new stellar facets. If you want to take off with the four of them, come to the launch pad in St. Pauli in September.
