Opening act is BIG LEAGUE:

Formed in Melbourne by husband-and-wife duo Travis and Marie, Big League is an Australian alternative/indie rock band. Known for their male-female vocal harmonies and fuzz-laden, garage-rock sound, they celebrate the unappreciated details of suburban Australia. The band released records such as Windanswagger and frequently tours throughout Australia and New Zealand.

Second on the line-up are the HEDZ Band:

HZED are a female-fronted, riff-driven rock band known for bringing energy, grit, and authenticity to every performance. With a sound that pulls from rock, grunge and metal, HZED have carved out a unique space in the Australian rock landscape.

Their previous releases have gained traction on independent radio and live circuits across the country

What a line-up! A true blue Aussie array of outstanding home-grown talent. Let's DO this!

Brother & Sister fronted Australian alt-pop icons The Mavis’s return in 2026 with their brand new single “Heaven” - release date Tuesday 24 February distributed worldwide by Xelon Digital.

Bursting with the band’s unmistakable melodic flair and emotional punch, “Heaven” delivers bittersweet lyrics with an enormously danceable sound, marking an exciting new creative chapter for one of Australia’s most beloved and enduring bands.

Formed in 1987 as teenagers, The Mavis’s began as a four-piece post-punk rock band named after a cat. They quickly built a reputation for creativity, heartfelt songwriting, sibling harmonies and unforgettable live shows. Their first gig was in a church hall with just four songs — the start of a journey that would cement their status - first as cult favourites and then widely recognised as Australian music treasures.

Rising to national prominence in the late '90s, The Mavis’s earned critical acclaim and multiple ARIA Award nominations, including Single of the Year and Song of the Year for their 1998 hit “Cry".

The brother-and-sister duo Matt Thomas and Beki (Colada) Thomas share a rare musical connection, often finishing each other's sentences and communicating in their own language.

They teamed up with acclaimed music producer Mark Opitz (AC/DC, INXS, Cold Chisel, Divinyls, KISS): Together bringing the magic of the song to life.

"For me, it always comes back to the music and the artists. This collaboration has real electricity, and 'Heaven' carries that spark. We've made something honest, loud in spirit, and built to connect." - Mark Optiz

"The Mavis's are to Australia what A-ha are to Norway: masters of perfectly crafted pop, renowned for their exuberant live shows and their trademark mix of sparkle, sass and sequins. Few bands radiate such joy." - Jane Gazzo, Music Journalist, Presenter, Curator, DJ and Music Lover

To celebrate the release of Heaven, The Mavis's will return to the stage for a national Australian tour, performing new music alongside fan-favourite classics.
