ACTORS
Vancouver’s ACTORS has been called “Canada’s most exciting post-punk band” for good reason. With a sleek, cinematic sound that’s ice-cool and anthemic, the four-piece—Jason Corbett (vocals, guitar), Shannon Hemmett (synth, vocals), Kendall Wooding (bass, vocals), and Adam Fink (drums)—has carved out a distinct space in the modern darkwave scene.
Their breakthrough 2018 album It Will Come to You (Artoffact Records) introduced their signature blend of moody synths, propulsive basslines, and Corbett’s magnetic voice. 2021’s Acts of Worship took it further, earning spots on multiple “Best of” lists and racking up praise from BrooklynVegan, Exclaim!, CBC Radio, and Post-Punk.com. The album plays like the soundtrack to a neon-noir dream: melancholy, electrifying, and endlessly replayable.
ACTORS has toured extensively across North America, Europe, the UK, and Mexico, appearing at key festivals like Cruel World, Grauzone, Cold Waves, Substance LA, and Wave-Gotik-Treffen. They’ve performed in-studio on KEXP Seattle, JBTV Chicago, plus Part Time Punks LA, and landed song placements in TV shows like Nancy Drew and Netflix’s The Order. Even during the global shutdown, the band remained prolific, releasing a steady stream of singles and striking videos that kept their momentum burning.
Known for their intense, immersive live shows, ACTORS continues to captivate with every performance. As Montreal Rocks put it: “If I was only allowed to go to one show this year, I would now choose ACTORS.”

She Past Away
SHE PAST AWAY is a dark wave / post-punk duo, consisting of Volkan Caner (vocal, guitars and songwriting) and Doruk Ozturkcan (drums, synths and production). Experimenting old/new aesthetic of synth music into their core guitar stuff, She Past Away forged a sound, an attitude, and a sensibility, conveyed through a minimalist poetry sung in Turkish, which sweeps the audience through a dense, continual epic trip in both their recordings and live performances.
She Past Away released their critically-acclaimed first EP “Kasvetli Kutlama”, via Remoov in April 2009. Following the digital release of the debut album “Belirdi Gece” in February 2012, the band was signed to Fabrika Records in 2013 and shortly thereafter they released “Belirdi Gece” in LP format. Including “Rituel”, “Ruh” as well as “Kasvetli Kutlama”, the album was listed as one of the best albums of the decade 2010-2019 by post-punk.com.
With the release of their follow-up album “Narin Yalnızlık” in May 2015, the duo established themselves as one of the most influential and successful genre-defining acts of dark wave music and scored numerous crowd-puller performances all around the world.
In December 2018, the band signed to Metropolis Records and re-issued both albums
in North America.
The band graced the audience with a beautifully dark and driving new album “Disko Anksiyete” via Metropolis Records and Fabrika Records in May 2019.
In May 2020, the band celebrated their tenth anniversary with the remix album “X”, including remixes from Boy Harsher, The Soft Moon, Clan of Xymox, Front 242, Lebanon Hanover and many more.
In October 2020, the first ever live studio recording of the band was released with the title “Part Time Punks Session”.
In September 2024, the single “Inziva” was released and presented with a music video.
In February 2026, the band released their latest album “Mizantrop”, further expanding their distinctive dark wave sound and aesthetic.
She Past Away played headlining stages at major festivals as well as hundreds of club shows around
the world. Some of these festivals are Sick New World (United States), Pyscho Las Vegas (United
States), Levitation (United States), Hell Fest (France), Exit Festival (Serbia), Motocultor (France),
Wave Gothic Treffen (Germany) , Mera Luna (Germany), NCN Festival (Germany), Castleparty
(Poland), Entremuralhas (Portugal), W-Fest (Belgium).
Christian Dior, the fashion brand, used two She Past Away songs for a fashion show in 2016.
SHE PAST AWAY is a driving, mesmerizing outburst of sentimental anxiety through the nihilistic mind-frame. It is both personal and broad, like a wandering mind brave enough to question taboo and existence.
