No Resale Over Face Value: Jack's Mannequin is using Ticketmaster's Face Value Exchange to help fans get tickets at the original price. Tickets can only be resold on Ticketmaster at face value. States Blocking Artist Resale Terms: New York, Illinois, Colorado, Virginia, Utah and Connecticut have state laws that prevent resale restrictions. In those states, Ticketmaster will still honor Jack's Mannequin terms by keeping resale prices at face value on its site. $1 per ticket goes towards The Dear Jack Foundation, which provides impactful programming that directly benefits adolescents and young adults diagnosed with cancer in order to improve their quality of life and create positive health outcomes from treatment to survivorship for patients and their families. Something CorporateSomething Corporate is a rock band hailing from Orange County, California. While they categorize their own music as piano rock, the industry has filed them somewhere between the pop punk genres. They are currently signed to Drive-Thru Records and Geffen Records.
During the Summer of 2004, the band was growing exhausted from spending years on the road, and they decided to take a break. During the hiatus, guitarist Josh Partington formed the band Firescape and recorded the five song EP Rearden's Conscience in 2005. Lead singer and pianist Andrew McMahon, on the other hand, released a solo album Everything in Transit under the name Jack's Mannequin on August 23, 2005. The day he finished recording, he was diagnosed with acute lymphoblastic leukemia. On August 23, the day the record was released, he underwent a bone marrow transplant, and is now on the road to recovery.
In the year 2006 the band considers themselves to still be on a break. Andrew is still pursuing Jack's Mannequin and Josh is still playing with Firescape. Brian Ireland (the bands drummer) has played with William Tell (ex SoCo member) and is the current drummer for the band Streamline. Clutch (Kevin Page, the bass player) manages the band Get Back Loretta.
On October 14, 2006, at the Bamboozle Left festival in Pomona, California, Something Corporate reunited as the "special guest" to play three songs: Konstantine, I Woke Up in a Car, and Hurricane.
Aside from consistant popularity, SC continues to contribute to their community by playing free shows; most notably their packed houses in Berkeley, California.

Andrew McMahon in the WildernessIf anyone understands renewal, it’s Andrew McMahon. Over the last two decades, the veteran indie-pop singer-songwriter has experienced musical rebirth many times, ever since he started entertaining audiences in the ‘00s alt-pop outfit Something Corporate, and he’s consistently arrived on the other side stronger than ever. After leading Something Corporate to major chart success in the early 2000s, McMahon soon resurfaced with the more personal solo project Jack’s Mannequin. On the cusp of releasing their 2005 debut, he was diagnosed with leukemia at age 22. Eventually fully recovered, McMahon went on to release two more studio albums with Jack's Mannequin and established The Dear Jack Foundation, which provides programming to benefit adolescents and young adults diagnosed with cancer. McMahon then earned an Emmy Award nomination for songs he composed for the NBC series Smash, and in 2014 released Andrew McMahon in the Wilderness, which also became his moniker. McMahon is currently releasing music from his new album Tilt At The Wind No More, out March 31 on Nettwerk Music Group.
