    Ever since the cloaked Pacific Northwest band appeared on the music radar, UADA has always been electrified by both polar worlds. Their echelon was stark and meaningful.     For well over three decades HELHEIM have represented their Norse heritage through their music and lyrics, with an authenticity and an integrity that is frequently diluted within the so-called Viking genres. Helheim was founded in Bergen, Norway in 1992. In 1995 the band made their mark with the classic debut album Jormundgand, recorded in the legendary Grieghallen studio. 33 years and 12 albums later, Helheim remains a vital force. WoduridaR”, the eleventh full length album from Helheim, more or less sums up their almost 30 years long career, with elements from all their album combining the pace of the first ones, to the vocal arrangements on “Rignir”. "With "WoduridaR" we have returned to the harshness and the paradigms of "LandawarijaR", with explosive, mid-paced melodies that have an emotive refrain which summons the northern flames. In 2025 Norwegian Viking/black metal legends Helheim returned with their 12th studio album — a groundbreaking release where the band did the unthinkable: created a split album with themselves. For the first time in their over 30-year career, primary songwriters V’gandr and H’grimnir divided the creative process, each taking full control over half of the album, including vocals and musical direction. The result is two distinct yet unmistakably Helheim expressions — a bold evolution of the band’s signature sound. Heathendom is resistance!
