Airwaves : Agent Fresco

“Undoubtedly one of the most exciting new bands in the world today” — The Independent (UK)

From Iceland, Agent Fresco create progressive art rock of rare scale and emotional force. Arnór Dan Arnarson (vocals), Þórarinn Guðnason (guitar & piano), Hrafnkell Örn Guðjónsson (drums) and Vignir Rafn Hilmarsson (bass) weave intricate rhythms, soaring harmonies, cinematic piano, explosive guitars and deeply emotional lyrics into music that is restless, beautiful and impossible to contain. Their acclaimed debut, A Long Time Listening, announced a singular new voice; Morgunblaðið called it “An amazing album by the best rock band in the country today.”

Destrier pushed further still: a fearless journey through darkness, tension and release. Their electrifying live tours at festivals including Roskilde, Euroblast and Iceland Airwaves — have earned Agent Fresco a reputation as a breathtakingly powerful and immersive force onstage.

MTV: “By and large one of the best bands to come out of Iceland.”
