Airwaves : Esmeralda Road

Esmeralda Road are a Belfast band quickly establishing themselves as one of the most exciting new live acts to emerge from the UK and Ireland.

Built on sharp songwriting, restless rhythms and an instinct for turning small rooms into full-blown parties, the band first gained attention through a string of sold-out shows in Belfast and early releases that spread quickly online. On stage, their reputation grew just as quickly. Esmeralda Road began taking their high-energy live show across the UK and Ireland, sharing stages with artists including Liam Gallagher and Primal Scream, while building a devoted following through touring.

Off the back of a support tour with Irish indie risers Basht., new music on the horizon, and big live plans for the rest of the year, 2026 is shaping up to be a landmark year for Esmeralda Road.
