Airwaves : Spacestation

Spacestation are a four-piece alternative rock band from Reykjavík, Iceland, known for their energetic live shows and a sound that moves between dreamy indie rock, shoegaze, post-punk and psychedelia. Since emerging from Reykjavík’s grassroots scene, the band have become an established name in Icelandic alternative music while steadily building an audience abroad.

Their debut album “Reykjavík Syndrome” introduced Spacestation’s melodic yet restless sound, while their sophomore LP, “Who Killed Spacestation?”, sees the band pushing into heavier, more atmospheric and experimental territory.

Following extensive touring and performances at festivals and showcases across Europe and beyond, Spacestation have developed a reputation as a powerful live band. With a growing international presence and a new album on the way, they’re entering their most ambitious chapter yet.
