  Like Mike

  As one half of the globally renowned duo Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, Mike Thivaios - better known
  as Like Mike - has forged a distinct identity as a solo artist in the electronic music world. While the
  duo’s electrifying, mainstage-ready sound continues to captivate audiences worldwide, Mike’s solo work
  embarks on a deeper sonic journey, shifting from high-energy festival anthems to the introspective
  minimalism rooted in the melodic foundations of his early musical influences.
  
  Like Mike’s artistic evolution is deeply shaped by his upbringing in Belgium during the 1990s, where the
  underground scene was dominated by the harder styles of dance music and industrial techno. These
  influences later merged with the groovy house, funk, electro and minimal techno he immersed himself in
  during his time in Ibiza in the early 2000s, helping define his unique approach to production.
  
  Through his solo work, Like Mike explores a wide range of sonic textures, weaving groovy rhythms, rolling
  beats and intricate percussive elements into music that flows seamlessly between House, Indie, Afro
  House, Progressive and Melodic Techno. From early career standouts like Memories, Rewind, Excited,
  One Night and Back 2 U, to more recent gems such as Pulsating Energy, Unity, Awaking and
  Right Into You with Claptone, Like Mike consistently pushes genre boundaries with uplifting, hypnotic
  productions.
  
  After closing out 2023 with the announcement of his new alias - HEREON - Like Mike entered 2024
  with The Night, a collaboration with Adam Sellouk and Braev released on Nora En Pure’s Purified
  Records, setting the stage for a deeper exploration of melodic techno. Singles like Under Your Spine
  with Khainz and Elodie Gervaise, and Alive with Kol De Cord and Eli & Dani, paved the way for
  HEREON’s self-titled debut album. Blending immersive sound design with haunting, progressive beats,
  the album features collaborations with Martin Trevy, Silver Panda, Against All Ødds, Giuseppe
  Ottaviani, Florentin and Grammy-winner Sam Martin.
  
  Alongside the HEREON project, Like Mike continues to release music under his own name through
  his label Green Room. In 2024, he delivered a series of standout singles, including Wala, What
  Is Reality, Kashmir, Takdim, Around You and Avalon - the latter a collaboration with Ginchy
  and Alessia Labate. These tracks highlight his ability to craft dynamic, forward-thinking music that
  seamlessly balances minimalistic precision with emotionally rich soundscapes. Opening 2025 with Let It
  Burn, a collaboration with Human Rias and Afnan Prince, Like Mike is poised for an even bigger year
  with more releases on the horizon.
  
  With an ever-expanding catalog spanning both Like Mike and HEREON, his work through Green Room,
  and continued collaborations with Dimitri Vegas & Like Mike, 2025 is shaping up to be a landmark year
  - one that fuses introspection with innovation. As part of this evolution, Green Room will soon take on a
