French Cuban sisters Ibeyi will start their highly-anticipated North American headline tour dates in Los Angeles on March 10th.

unpeople are the soundtrack for everyone who is fed up with everything that's going on out there. A project that is bursting with energy and transforms anger about the state of the world into powerful, honest songs. With every note and every word, they address the ‘unpeople’ - those who feel alienated from the system, who struggle, who rebel. ‘You are unpeople. We are unpeople.’ This passionate protest against estrangement and the effects of the world on humanity runs through their music like a golden thread. It is an outcry that must not only be heard, but felt - loud, wild and full of accusation.

With four decades of darkness behind them, Norway’s extreme metal pioneers MAYHEM continue their legacy of chaos with the ongoing “40 Years of Mayhem” anniversary tour. Marking this milestone, they’re headlining the 2025 Decibel Magazine Tour in North America, bringing their raw, relentless sound to fans old and new. The band’s current lineup features founding bassist Necrobutcher, long-time drummer Hellhammer, and iconic vocalist Attila Csihar, alongside guitarists Teloch and Ghul. Pounding riffs weighing several tons? Check! Catchy choruses and symphonic flashes? Check! Relentless eruptions of utterly chaotic, yet catchy modern metal? Check! Passionate performances by elaborate musicians? Check!

You got it right: over the last twelve adrenaline-filled years, braindead™ Finnish cannonball squad LOST SOCIETY has been fearlessly exploring the lights and shadows of the world of heavy metal. Still, despite the dirty deeds of the past years and the praise of legendary colleagues such as Kreator's Mille Petrozza and Sepultura's Andreas Kisser, it now feels like the band's rocket is just about to take off.

Enter 2022. The epochs of darkness have just been left behind...

LOST SOCIETY – featuring guitarist Arttu Lesonen, bassist Mirko Lehtinen and drummer Taz Fagerström as well – is about to unleash the most ambitious, versatile and innovative record of their career. Well, so far.

If The Sky Came Down is a bona fide example of what may happen when utterly talented musicians recognize the magnificent feeling: we are capable of reaching the heavy metal skies.

The definitive nail in the coffin is the record's spectacular closer Suffocating. There are cold shivers down the listener's spine as Samy Elbanna spits fragile but powerful lines such as "only death can heal me" and "the air is pure but I'm suffocating".

The lyrics may sometimes be secondary in the mystical realms of rock 'n' roll, but If The Sky Came Down heads out to another highway – and certainly not just within the unique serenity of aforementioned Suffocating.

And now the rockets are about to be launched again... What does the future look like?

  • Modem
    Modem

Modem is a Helsinki-based synth pop duo formed by Tytti Roto and Ville Valavuo in 2020. Having paid their dues in the Finnish punk and indie underground (in bands such as Tamara Luonto, Plastic Tones, Kissa, Foreseen and Kohti Tuhoa), the duo set out to create electronic pop music and channel their love for the synthetic sounds of the 1980s.

Following the DIY ethos of the punk scene, the band has been very self-sufficient in recording, mixing and artwork, and released everything through their own label Modem Age Records. So far the band has put out two 12” singles – Elokuvia (2022) and Luxuria (2022) before releasing a full length in April 2024. In the past couple years Modem have been touring actively in the Finnish club scene, played some of Finland’s biggest festivals such as Flow Festival, Sideways and Ruisrock, and toured briefly in Central Europe and Scandinavia.
