  Nusantara Beat

  Nusantara Beat is a six-piece psych-folk band from Amsterdam giving Indonesia's musical heritage a fresh, contemporary twist. Six young musicians of Indonesian descent pay tribute to the archipelago's rich musical traditions, effortlessly blending their inspirations from Indonesian pop, folk, with traditional styles like keroncong and dangdut with elements of surf rock, soul, and garage. The result is a hypnotic mix of tropical melancholy and irresistible rhythms—as rootsy as they are rebellious.

  Min Taka

  Taking her name from the mythical vanishing planet, Min Taka shares her inner world through a genre-bending sound that moves between indie, liquid drum ‘n bass, and synth-hyperpop. Her songs reflect on themes of identity, belonging, femininity, and connection, juxtaposed against a sonic universe that ranges from intimate and soft to intense electronic commotion. Inspired by the likes of Mitski, Sassy 009, Cocteau Twins, Kero Kero Bonito, and Charli XCX, the Istanbul born and raised in Rotterdam living pixie-pop artist’s latest EP I think we should just move in together was released in July 2025 with both Turkish and English tracks.

  Hiqpy's story remains elusive. In 2024, the band played ESNS Noorderslag without a release, and a year later, they repeated that. Meanwhile, a second single has arrived, the captivating epic Red Flag Magician, and… the four Amsterdammers return to Groningen with their top-notch songs, passion, ad-libs, and fuzzy guitars. Plus a wealth of experience: over 80 festival appearances, airplay in England and Belgium, and even more recognition: Volkskrant and 3FM Talent + Spotify Radar Artist. Hiqpy will drop their debut album in early 2026, followed by a club tour in the Netherlands and Belgium.

  Kaat Van Stralen

  What started as a solo project by Kaat Van Stralen evolved into a four-headed genre-defying punk band. Kaat sings in Dutch and plays a mix of punk, alternative spoken word and indie with a strong feminist approach. After winning the prestigious Belgian music competition De Nieuwe Lichting, she played over 60 shows in 2025. Leading music magazine HUMO described her hit ‘Stop Met Wenen’ as ‘the most important Belgian song in years’. Her first release will be out in November, with launch concerts in December at Depot Leuven, Merleyn Nijmegen, and MEZZ Breda.
