Greetings from Iceland
I am writing to you on behalf of the Icelandic band ADHD, who will release their ninth
album, ADHD 9, in 2024. They are looking for opportunities to perform in Europe in
October 2024, and we think your venue would be a perfect fit for their unique and
captivating music.
ADHD is a band that defies categorization. They create a sonic landscape that is
both organic and electric, blending elements of jazz, rock, ambient, and folk. Their
concerts are immersive and exhilarating, drawing the audience into a trance-like
state of collective ecstasy. They have been praised by critics and fans alike for their
originality, creativity, and virtuosity.
ADHD consists of four professional musicians, who have been playing together for
almost two decades: Óskar Guðjónsson on saxophone, Ómar Guðjónsson on guitar,
pedal steel and bass, Tómas Jónsson on piano and keyboards, and Magnús
Trygvason Eliassen on drums. They have released eight albums so far, each one
exploring a different aspect of their musical identity. Their latest album, ADHD 9, was
recorded in an intimate setting at Castle Studio in Dresden. The album captures the
raw energy and spontaneity of their live performance, as well as the intimate
connection they have with each other.
