daoud
The Jazz Cafe Camden, 5 Parkway, NW1 7PG London Kort
mið. 02.12.2026 19:00
A first-class trumpeter reshaping jazz on his own terms, pushing against its traditions with instinct, tension and refusal.
His music thrives on contrast, where playfulness meets weight, chaos meets restraint, and moments of fragility cut through bursts of raw intensity.
Uncompromising yet deeply human, daoud’s music pulls jazz apart, and rebuilds it in real time.
Enjoy a view overlooking the stage from our mezzanine restaurant.

daoudThe problem child of French jazz, daoud is widely regarded as a torch bearer of the new jazz scene. Inspirations from hip-hop, Italian house and modern jazz mold together to create a rich, groove infused tapestry of sounds. The French-Moroccan trumpeter fuels his compositions with absurdism and a little bit of inadequacy always looking for new ways to annoy purists. With his second album ok, August 2025, he delivers a personal manifesto shaped by collapse and repetition.
