    Formed in Norwich in 2012, Mammal Hands quickly garnered attention with their fresh and innovative approach, attracting praise from notable figures in the music world, including Bonobo, Tom Ravenscroft, Jamie Cullum, and Gilles Peterson. Their debut was followed by signing to Gondwana Records in 2013, subsequently releasing five critically acclaimed albums, including their latest, Gift from the Trees (2023).

    Known for their distinctive fusion of genres, combining jazz, contemporary classical, electronica, folk, and minimalism to create a sound that is uniquely their own, Their intense and hypnotic live performances have forged a strong reputation as a live band and has enabled them to tour the world extensively, performing in Japan, China, USA, Canada, Thailand, Turkey and all across Europe. Landmark live performances have included headline shows at The Barbican London, Hamburg Elbphilharmonie, Koln Philharmonie, La Cigale Paris, Unit Tokyo and Festival performances at Montreux Jazz Festival, Montreal Jazz Festival, Athens Technopolis and Vancouver Jazz Festival.

    With a broad array of influences, Mammal Hands take inspiration from jazz, contemporary classical, electronica, folk and minimalism to create their own inimitable style that has captured the imagination of a loyal international following. They are currently working on their 6th studio album and continuing to play live shows across the globe.
