▲ SHE PAST AWAY - She Past Away är det turkiska dark-wave-bandet som gjort sig ett namn internationellt med sitt omarbetade 80-talssound. Det karaktäristiska gitarrljudet från postpunk-eran kombineras med minimalistisk poesi på turkiska. She Past Aways grunder leder tillbaka till 2006 när Volkan, bandets vokalist började skriva musik. Första EP:n ”Kasvetli Kutlama” spelades in 2010 och Debutalbumet ”Belirdi Gece” släpptes 2012.

▲ BIRD AND BEAST - Bird And Beast omger sig med oljud, tunga basar, melankoliska toner och glittriga chorus-gitarrer – en ondskefull men vacker blandning av 90-tals trip-hop, darkwave och 80-talets industrisynthar. De drar inspiration från band som Portishead, Chelsea Wolfe, Skinny Puppy, The Cure, Cocteau Twins, DAF med flera.

She Past Away
SHE PAST AWAY is a dark wave / post-punk duo, consisting of Volkan Caner (vocal, guitars and songwriting) and Doruk Ozturkcan (drums, synths and production). Experimenting old/new aesthetic of synth music into their core guitar stuff, She Past Away forged a sound, an attitude, and a sensibility, conveyed through a minimalist poetry sung in Turkish, which sweeps the audience through a dense, continual epic trip in both their recordings and live performances.
She Past Away released their critically-acclaimed first EP “Kasvetli Kutlama”, via Remoov in April 2009. Following the digital release of the debut album “Belirdi Gece” in February 2012, the band was signed to Fabrika Records in 2013 and shortly thereafter they released “Belirdi Gece” in LP format. Including “Rituel”, “Ruh” as well as “Kasvetli Kutlama”, the album was listed as one of the best albums of the decade 2010-2019 by post-punk.com.
With the release of their follow-up album “Narin Yalnızlık” in May 2015, the duo established themselves as one of the most influential and successful genre-defining acts of dark wave music and scored numerous crowd-puller performances all around the world.
In December 2018, the band signed to Metropolis Records and re-issued both albums
in North America.
The band graced the audience with a beautifully dark and driving new album “Disko Anksiyete” via Metropolis Records and Fabrika Records in May 2019.
In May 2020, the band celebrated their tenth anniversary with the remix album “X”, including remixes from Boy Harsher, The Soft Moon, Clan of Xymox, Front 242, Lebanon Hanover and many more.
In October 2020, the first ever live studio recording of the band was released with the title “Part Time Punks Session”.
In September 2024, the single “Inziva” was released and presented with a music video.
In February 2026, the band released their latest album “Mizantrop”, further expanding their distinctive dark wave sound and aesthetic.
She Past Away played headlining stages at major festivals as well as hundreds of club shows around
the world. Some of these festivals are Sick New World (United States), Pyscho Las Vegas (United
States), Levitation (United States), Hell Fest (France), Exit Festival (Serbia), Motocultor (France),
Wave Gothic Treffen (Germany) , Mera Luna (Germany), NCN Festival (Germany), Castleparty
(Poland), Entremuralhas (Portugal), W-Fest (Belgium).
Christian Dior, the fashion brand, used two She Past Away songs for a fashion show in 2016.
SHE PAST AWAY is a driving, mesmerizing outburst of sentimental anxiety through the nihilistic mind-frame. It is both personal and broad, like a wandering mind brave enough to question taboo and existence.
