21+ / www.carolspub.comWade Forster doesnt just sing country music - hes lived it. Born, raised, and still working on a cattle station deep in the Queensland outback, his lifehas been built on dust, hard work, and long days in the saddle. Aprofessional rodeo cowboy, hes spent years on the circuit, chasingbuckles, riding hard, and living the kind of stories most country singers onlywrite about. Music was always there - blaring through truck speakers, rattling off tinroofs, or belted out the back of a Gooseneck. But it wasnt until 2017, whenhe moved to Mount Isa for a refrigeration job, that he decided to buy aguitar - just a $50 find off Marketplace. Teaching himself to play in his free time, he started sharing rough covers online. People told him he had agood voice, but rodeo always came first. Then, in 2021, a simple cover of Tyler Childers Oneida changedeverything. It racked up views fast, and for the first time, Wade wondered ifmusic was more than just a pastime. With winnings from a few hard-earnedrodeo checks, he booked time at Simon Johnsons Hillbilly Hut Studio andrecorded his debut album, The Beginning. The album doesnt dress things up or shy away from the hard stuff - depression, loss, love, and the struggles of rural life. Wade sings about the things most blokes in small towns dont talk about out loud - the quiet battles, the moments that knock you flat, and the weight that doesnt always lift. His songs arent poetry - theyre real stories, told with the kind of honesty that makes you feel like youre living them right alongside him.For tables reservations please reach out to CarolsPub@gmail.com. Wade ForsterWinner of the 2024 Toyota Star Maker, North-Western Queensland country artist and Professional Rodeo Circuit Cowboy Wade Forster is no stranger to the bright lights. He found music whilst travelling around Australia competing in rodeos and decided to buy a guitar and teach himself to play. Since those long days and nights of 2018, He has released his debut album “The Beginning” in 2022, which has had huge international and local success. He also was a part of The Academy in 2023 where he learnt new skills and got the opportunity to be a part of the opening concert at the 2023 Tamworth Country Music Festival on the main stage. He dreams of days of old, as his music reflects George Jones and Dwight Yoakam incorporating modern elements of Cody Johnson and Tyler Childers. His goals are to tell his stories of the road and the troubles with being a travelling cowboy. His storytelling quality evokes a deeper meaning than just the lyrics spoken, and he longs to help all who have been dealt the hard hands and is an advocate for men’s mental health off the scene. Wade has a listen first nature, always willing to hear someone’s story and always offering a helping hand where needed
