W.A.S.P.

W.A.S.P. are one of the most enduring glam metal bands of all time. They formed in 1982 and like many of their peers, hail from Los Angeles, California, USA. Their durability comes as much from their shock rock inspired image as it does from their numerous studio albums.

Danko Jones

Formed in Toronto in 1996, Danko Jones have seen and done just about everything over the last quarter of a century. Powered by a DIY punk rock spirit, and inspired by the good, great and grotesque of electrified rock ‘n’ roll, they have steadily built a colossal international fan base and become one of the most acclaimed live bands around, embraced by everyone from mainstream radio-rock fans to diehard metalheads. Along the way, they have released ten widely praised studio albums, generating a peerless repertoire of fists-in-the-air crowd-pleasers into the bargain. From the spiky blues of 2002’s Born A Lion and the crazed power-pop of its follow-up We Sweat Blood (2003), to the priapic perfection of 2010’s Below The Belt, the band’s knack for hitting rock’s sweet spot has never wavered.

Over the last decade, Danko Jones have visibly moved up a few gears. Since frontman Danko and bassist JC joined forced with drummer Rich Knox, the band’s creative fire has blazed more brightly than ever. A succession of all-killer, no-filler albums – Fire Music, Wild Cat, A Rock Supreme, Power Trio – has led to even more gung-ho touring and unapologetic service to the rock cause. In 2023, Toronto’s archbishops of amplification release their 11th album, Electric Sounds: proof that even a global pandemic couldn’t stop Danko Jones. In fact, it just made them even more unstoppable.

Amorphis

Amorphis is a Finnish metal band founded in 1990. Initially, the band was a death metal act, but on later albums they evolved into playing other genres, including progressive metal with folk music influences. They frequently use the Kalevala, the epic poem of Finland, as a source for their lyrics. Band members are: Esa Holopainen, Tomi Joutsen, Santeri Kallio, Tomi Koivusaari, Olli-Pekka Laine and Jan Rechberger.

Fourteenth Amorphis album, "Halo", is out on February 11th, 2022 via Atomic Fire Records.

Lordi

Lordi (formed in 1992) is a Finnish operatic heavy metal and pyrotechnically inclined hard rock band, hailing from Helsinki, Finland.

Bill Chambers is Australia--a bit rough around the edges, but the best country you've never heard of. Chamber is a premier alt-country guitartist, producer and songwriter.
"My kids Nash and Kasey grew up listening only to the music I played on cassettes or on my guitar around the campfire. Songs of Hank Williams, the Carter Family, Johnny Cash, Jackson Browne and John Prine," Bill relates. "I'm entirely self taught. I guess that's why I sound like I do."

Beside's Bill's substantial independent work, he has recorded with fellow Aussies Audrey Auld Mezera (as Bill & Audrey), and with his daughter, Kasey Chambers.
