Adult DVD today announce their signing to legendary independent label Fat Possum. The Leeds based six-piece also today share new single Real Tree Lee which was premiered yesterday evening on Huw Stephens' BBC 6Music show. Real Tree Lee is a glimpse of what to expect from Adult DVD in 2026 - bold, forward-thinking music from one of the UK's most hotly tipped new bands.
The band will soon embark on a UK tour with full dates below. Their 3-night residency at London's Shacklewell Arms sold out in quick time with their word-of-mouth reputation as a formidable live band rapidly gaining momentum. A relentless touring schedule in 2025 saw them entrance crowds across the country, including at Glastonbury, Green Man, End Of The Road and more. In March they will head to the USA to perform at SXSW.
On 'Real Tree Lee' the band say -
"Lee is a guy that we never want to become, let’s make that clear! This tune goes out to all the blokes who keep it blokey and delve too far into the cretin side of the internet, guys that believe every sub Reddit post they read, dudes that base their entire lives around some bonkers right wing conspiracy and live in fear of 5G. When it comes to Lee, what you see isn’t a what you get, and what you get is much darker than you’d expect"

Formed by vocalist Harry Hanson and synth-player Greg Lonsdale, the project has quickly expanded to a full band with Danny Blackburn (guitar/synth), Jake Williams (synth), Jonathan Newell (drums), and George Manson (bass).
The band have received extensive early press support including being tipped by Rolling Stone UK as a 'Ones To Watch For 2026', plus they have been playlisted at BBC 6 Music and had support from BBC Radio 1 and more. Last year they also performed live at BBC’s 6 Music Festival.
Adult DVD are on the precipice of something big...whether tapping into their love for chorus-centric indie or the influence of acid house floor fillers, DJing, or remixing their musical contemporaries their core appeal remains consistent: undeniable humour, bold danceable instrumentals and instantly memorable songwriting.
