Efterklang

Efterklang and Sønderjysk Pigekor (South Denmark Girls’ Choir) have shared a close creative partnership for more than 15 years. It’s an ever evolving musical friendship that has led to a numerous concerts and recordings.

In 2026, choir and band reunite for three special church concerts, bringing together music from Efterklang’s vast catalogue alongside carefully chosen highlights from the choir’s repertoire. These concerts will be among the very few Efterklang performances this year, offering a rare opportunity to experience the collaboration live.

All concerts are conducted by Mette Rasmussen.

The concert i Sct. Marie Church is part of the organ festival of Sønderborg and surrounding towns and the organ player of the church Ida Hymøller will play the grand church organ during the concert.
