He takes on personas – usually that of the sleazy everyman, the kind of guy who frequents strip clubs and casinos on weekday afternoons – and his work is deliberately provocative and transgressive, and rarely serious. Rather than coming across as a gimmick, though, Cameron completes a full circle of irony to cool again.
