AVANTASIA: »HERE BE DRAGONS« ARENA TOUR & NEW ALBUM IN 2025
AVANTASIA have come to be known as the trailblazing genre flagship around the globe for their one-of-a-kind Symphonic Rock and Metal extravaganza.
Looking back on 9 albums, number-one-chart positions, gold awards and sold out concerts all over the world - from Europe to Asia, from Australia to North- and Latin America - main man Tobias Sammet is probably Germany’s most successful Rock export of his generation, and with his band AVANTASIA he has been so for 25 years now.
In March 2025 AVANTASIA are going to ring in a new age in the spooky and enchanting lands of Avantasia, embarking on an arena world tour in support of their 10th studio album »Here Be Dragons«, which is currently in the works and will be released early next year.
Tobias Sammet states:
»This year’s summer festival season has been only the beginning of a new era of AVANTASIA, an appetizer so to speak. The shows of our own Here Be Dragons tour are going to be the real deal, a trip to a world of wonder where people can forget about everything else in their real lives and join me on the other side. It’s an immersive experience with special effects and a huge production, bigger and better than anything we’ve ever done. And: there is amazing new music in the works; anthemic and epic songs that will fit in seamlessly with our classics and some almost forgotten songs that may make it into the live setlist as well. I can't wait to finish and unleash our brandnew album Here Be Dragons to the world and take this new stage spectacle to the road. Yes indeed, AVANTASIA is back!«

Harakiri for the Sky
Despair, loss, love, and existential struggles have always been the foundation of HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY’s distinctive sound. Since their formation in 2011, multi-instrumentalist M.S. and vocalist J.J. have gained recognition for pushing musical boundaries with their emotionally charged blend of atmospheric extreme metal and melodic post-rock, grunge and modern hardcore. Taking four years to craft the follow-up to 2021’s "Maere" (which peaked at #4 on the official German charts), HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY will now release their new tour-de-force, "Scorched Earth" through AOP Records.
"‘Scorched Earth’ came together after years of experimenting with untypical sounds, yet on the other hand trying to stay true to our original post black metal style. It still seemed like one crisis followed another. Our society is divided to its core and peace seems further away than ever in the last decades. This is what inspired the title of the new album: “Scorched Earth” is a snapshot of the world we are living, a world that’s tragically broken.”
HARAKIRI FOR THE SKY have headlined tours across Europe, North America, South America, Asia, and Australia, earning a reputation as one of the most intense live acts in modern metal. Additionally, they've garnered 5 nominations for Austria’s prestigious Amadeus Music Award. Now, the band is ready to return to the stage, kicking off a North American tour with Swallow The Sun in February to unveil "Scorched Earth" to the world.
