The problem child of French jazz, daoud is widely regarded as a torch bearer of the new jazz scene. Inspirations from hip-hop, Italian house and modern jazz mold together to create a rich, groove infused tapestry of sounds. The French-Moroccan trumpeter fuels his compositions with absurdism and a little bit of inadequacy always looking for new ways to annoy purists.
