Produit par Matias Tellez (girl in red, AURORA) et coécrit avec Nick Hahn (ZAYN, Mimi Webb, aespa), « Closet Disco Queen » est un morceau pop lumineux, porté par des synthés, construit sur des lignes de synthé sinueuses et élastiques et un rythme entraînant. Il associe une production soignée à la voix sans retenue de Dagny, avant d’exploser en refrains euphoriques que l’on a envie de chanter en chœur. Au niveau des paroles, le morceau tourne autour de l’idée de se libérer de la timidité et de s’autoriser à se montrer tel que l’on est, quelle que soit son apparence, comme le résume son mantra répété : « be yourself / love yourself / express yourself ». En 2025, Dagny a effectué une grande tournée en Europe et en Norvège, où elle a été tête d'affiche de nombreux festivals norvégiens et a assuré la première partie de Jess Glynne et de Justin Timberlake. Elle annonce aujourd’hui une date à Paris le 6 février 2027 à La Maroquinerie !

For Dagny it all came together for the first time when her single Backbeat surprised the industry in 2015. The road to international attention was quite short as the track rose the charts in multiple territories, resulting in over 45 million cumulative streams. Since then she has grown to become one of Norway’s most exciting artists, live performers and songwriters – with over 1 billion streams, sold out tours, and critical acclaim by everyone from Nylon and Billboard to The Guardian and Harpers Bazaar.
