Subway To Sally

Schandmaul is a German rock/folk band. The band specializes in a genre of music often known as "Medieval-Folk Rock", as they often include instruments typically used in Medieval folk songs such as the bagpipes and shawms as parts of their rock sound. Contemporaries include Subway to Sally, In Extremo, Saltatio Mortis, Regicide and Letzte Instanz.
Schandmaul was founded in the summer of 1998, when six musicians from Munich and the surrounding area decided to put on a concert of folks music songs. Because just doing covers was not enough, they decided to write some of their own stuff. Thus was created the first tune they wrote themselves, "Teufelsweib" (Devil Woman), which already had what was to become the typical Schandmaul sound that they've built on over the years.

Fiddler's Green currently has an impressive 25 albums, four DVDs, hundreds of thousands of enthusiastic fans spread around the globe and over 214k monthly Spotify listeners. Ralf Albers (vocals, guitar, mandolin), Pat Prziwara (guitar, vocals), Rainer Schulz (bass), Stefan Klug (accordion, bodhran), Tobias Heindl (violin, vocals) and Frank Jooss (drums) feel just as much at home in cozy clubs as they do on the stages of large concert arenas throughout Europe and Asia.

It’s almost unbelievable: Fiddler’s Green will celebrate their 35th anniversary in 2025! Thirty-five years full of music, passion, and unforgettable moments – that calls for a proper celebration!

To mark the anniversary, there will be an exclusive tour taking FIDDLER’S GREEN to both major cities and smaller towns where fans have supported the band throughout the years. They’ll be bringing their biggest hits, their most beloved classics, and perhaps even one or two rare songs from the past back to the stage. As a special highlight, FIDDLER’S GREEN will also have some brand-new songs in their luggage, which they will premiere live on the anniversary tour!

Over the years, Fiddler’s Green have gathered incredible experiences: from legendary performances at festivals such as Wacken, the Pol'and'Rock Festival, Sweden Rock, and the Montreux Jazz Festival, to unforgettable concerts alongside icons like The Dubliners, The Chieftains, Flogging Molly, and the Dropkick Murphys. The band is especially proud of their tour of Japan, which took them to fans on the other side of the world.
