Not afraid of the uncomfortable truths of our time and yet full of courage to dream towards a better world: AKRYL puts her salty finger in the wounds of Gen Z only to rush straight in with marigold ointment and bandages. The singer–songwriter from St. Gallen in Switzerland creates poetic songs with lyrics full of bittersweet beauty and draws musical inspiration from the ethereal dream pop of Phoebe Bridgers as well as from the lyrical and compositional genius of Feist and the leftfield experimentation of Orla Gartland and Bon Iver.
