Ferry Corsten
Forged in the energy of Arizona’s underground rave culture, Markus Schulz has evolved into one of electronic music’s most enduring architects, shaping a sound that moves fluidly between progressive house, trance, techno, and deeper after-hours territories. From early landmarks like The New World to era-defining works such as Destiny, his catalog spans multiple albums, countless club anthems, and thousands of performances across the world’s most revered clubs, festivals, and arenas. As the guiding force behind Coldharbour Recordings and the voice of the long-running Global DJ Broadcast, Schulz has helped define generations of artists and listeners alike, while his remixes and collaborations have crossed genre and cultural boundaries. Renowned for his instinctive connection with the dance-floor, technically precise yet emotionally charged mixing, and legendary open-to-close sets, he has left an indelible mark everywhere from Ibiza and Miami to Berlin, Montreal, and beyond. Today, Markus continues to push forward—balancing expansive festival moments with deeper, darker club journeys, exploring parallel worlds through his Dakota project, and curating immersive experiences like In Search of Sunrise, all while refining a musical vision focused on tension, release, and storytelling for the future of the dance-floor.
