  • Lorde
    Lorde

Few artists can capture the essence of an entire generation like Lorde. Since her breakthrough at just sixteen with the minimalist anthem Royals, the New Zealand singer-songwriter has redefined the sound of modern pop—intimate yet grand, poetic yet grounded in raw emotion. With her distinctive voice and profound lyrics, Lorde has built her own world where introspection and power go hand in hand. From the moody sophistication of Pure Heroine to the pulsating energy and self-discovery of Melodrama to the sun-drenched introspection of Solar Power, Ella Yelich-O'Connor's music is constantly evolving – each album represents a new chapter not only in her artistic career, but also in the emotional lives of her listeners. She writes like a novelist, creating vivid scenes and penetrating truths about youth, fame, loneliness, and joy. Now her career, including live performances, has entered a new phase defined by her latest album, Virgin. Her live performances are literally transformative. Whether she commands the stage in complete silence or leads a euphoric sing-along, Lorde creates an atmosphere that resonates emotionally. At Colours of Ostrava, Lorde will bring her unmistakable energy, a voice that moves between fragility and fire, and a repertoire of songs that have shaped a decade of pop culture. Expect moments of pure joy with the anthems What Was That and Green Light, as well as electrifying emotions with the ballads Liabitlity and Man Of The Year.

    Kygo

Whether behind the piano in his studio or headlining a sold-out festival, Kygo quietly reaffirms his status as a prodigious talent, forward-thinking producer, dynamic DJ, and influential global superstar. The Norwegian musician born Kyrre Gørvell-Dahll first introduced himself in 2013 and quietly became one of the most ubiquitous hitmakers in the world while emerging as Spotify’s “Breakout Artist of 2015.” “Firestone” ft. Conrad Sewell and “Stole the Show” ft. Parson James help cement Kygo as “the fastest artist to reach 1 billion streams on Spotify.” In the wake of his chart-topping 2016 full- length debut Cloud Nine, he delivered memorable performances on The Late Late Show with James Corden, Good Morning America, The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon, and The Ellen DeGeneres Show. Plus, he notably performed “Carry Me” during the Closing Ceremony of the Rio Olympics. In 2017, he earned one of his biggest hits with the multiplatinum “It Ain’t Me” [feat. Selena Gomez], going Top 10 of the Billboard Hot 100 and clocking nearly 1 billion Spotify streams. He maintained his momentum on the Stargazing EP and second album, Kids In Love. The ensuing Kids In Love Tour canvased four continents and sold out arenas. In 2019, Kygo unleashed “Higher Love” with Whitney Houston and generated another 1 billion combined streams and views in addition to leaving his imprint on a classic. He heralded his 2020 third full-length album Golden Hour with the anthems “Like It Is” and “I’ll Wait.”

  • Laurenz Nikolaus
    Laurenz Nikolaus
With an eye for the seemingly mundane, Laurenz Nikolaus draws inspiration from everyday situations and translates them into idiosyncratic analogies. Witty bon mots such as ‘Müch in der Melange’ (I'm in a mess) or ‘du bist mir teuer wie Benzin’ (you are as precious to me as petrol) become clever declarations of love – a certain lightness is paired with restrained reflections in the project's debut song ‘Du bist wie’ (You are like) (2025). Austropop translates the DIY charm and unpolished thoughts of a 21st-century street poet into an elegant performance of German-language chansons. No kitsch, no finger-wagging, but rather a sound image of this new generation of indie artists who are not interested in bombast and fuss, but rather in artistic humility and creative spaces between pop and subculture. And even though the Viennese singer and songwriter is just getting started, all the ingredients for an unconventional musical career are already present in his repertoire, like oil paints on a palette. Keep an eye on him.
