Felipe Baldomir is a coastal indie-folk singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist from Uruguay, now based in Byron Bay, Australia. Known for his feel-good sound & dynamic live-looping performances, he blends folk with groovy guitar riffs, drums, synths, and saxophone to deliver a full-band energy show as a solo artist.
Since relocating to Australia in 2018, Felipe has built a global audience through relentless touring – evolving from busking and van life into sold-out headline shows and festival appearances across Europe, the UK, Australia, North America, and beyond.
Felipe just announced his fourth studio album, arriving in November this year. Inspired by a deep connection to surfing and the outdoors, his songwriting reflects a sense of flow, openness, and adventure. Felipe writes with the stage in mind, making the music all about bringing people together & creating an uplifting experience.
With a strong international touring presence and a reputation for engaging live shows, Felipe is steadily carving out his place within the global indie scene.

Felipe BaldomirFelipe Baldomir is a Coastal Indie-Folk singer/songwriter from Uruguay, South America; currently based in Byron Bay, Australia.
People often refer to his music as a blend of Jack Johnson, Xavier Rudd & Tash Sultana - His coastal sound travels from the Folk world of open-tunings, harmonica & steady power beats, to an uplifting soundscape of groovy guitar riffs, loops, punchy saxophone runs, synth/keys & vocals.
Since arriving in Sydney in August 2018 he has converted a van into a ‘rolling home & studio’ and has been performing all around the country. From busking in the streets, playing backyard shows & supporting local musicians such as Kim Churchill, Jack Botts, The Dreggs, etc; to headlining sold out shows all around Australia & playing at iconic festivals such as Queenscliff Music Festival, Changing Tides Festival, Ocean Sounds, NYE On The Hill, Frankston Waterfront Festival, etc (sharing the stage with Aussie legends like Xavier Rudd, Ziggy Alberts, Temper Trap, Boy & Bear, Dan Sultan, etc).
From one campervan to another, in 2023 only, Felipe completed over 100 shows across Australia, Europe, the United Kingdom & South America.
The independent artist just released his 3rd album ‘Tides’ on the 2nd of February of 2024; and to celebrate, Felipe will be touring Australia, Europe, UK, South Africa, South America and Canada this 2024!
