Tough, Texas-style blues rock from one of Australia's finest blues guitarists. After a packed night at The Oast in Rainham in August 2026, Ray Beadle comes back to Kent with his full electric band for a Saturday night at The Old Brewery Store, Faversham.

ABOUT RAY BEADLE

Born in Sydney in 1978, Ray picked up the guitar at nine and has been playing the blues ever since. His pedigree is hard to beat:

★ Three-month residency with the house band at BB King's Blues Club, Memphis

★ Played Buddy Guy's Blues Club, Chicago, on three tours of the USA

★ Years with the Foreday Riders, Australia's "University of the Blues"

★ Top-eight finish at the International Blues Challenge in Memphis

★ Chain Blues Awards: Best Album, Best Song and Best Male Artist

His fifteenth album, Bound To Get The Blues, was recorded live to tape at Studios 301 in Sydney: straight blues rock, tough Texas style. Albert King is his biggest influence, and fans of the Fabulous Thunderbirds, Gary Clark Jr and Doyle Bramhall II will feel right at home.

THE SHOW

A loud, muscular night of full-band electric blues, with songs from Bound To Get The Blues and favourites from across his fifteen albums. Expect long, improvised guitar solos and the feeling that every note matters.

THE VENUE

The Old Brewery Store sits within Shepherd Neame, Britain's oldest brewery (founded 1698). Vaulted ceilings, industrial charm and a 250 capacity: big enough for real atmosphere, small enough that you're never far from the stage.
